The Ethics of Representing Children and Sibling Groups in Child Protection

Join Jessalyn Hopkin, a Juvenile Deputy Public Defender from Bannock County, and Stacy Pittman, a private attorney who does Child Protection/Guardian Ad Litem cases, to review ethical obligations public defenders have to their clients, and if or how that obligation applies to a child client. They will also discuss obligations on when to withdraw from representing sibling groups in child protection cases. 

Come ready with all your questions! The session begins at 12:30 p.m. MT. The training is good for one State Public Defender continuing legal education (CLE) credit (one Idaho State Bar CLE credit pending).
