SUMMARY:CLE - Interviewing: Shifting the Balance of Power to Young People
DESCRIPTION:Interviewing and working with young people facing charges in delinquency or adult court requires specialized knowledge and intention. This workshop\, co-hosted by the State Public Defender Office\, and West and North Central Regions of the Gault Center\, will focus on how defense teams can ensure that every young person feels heard\, understands the process\, and is able to work with their attorney to achieve the best outcome possible. \n\n\n\nJoin Michal Gross\, Supervising Attorney\, Youth Law Team Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem and Sarah Johnson\, Senior Youth Defense Counsel\, The Gault Center\, for an hour-long interactive presentation and earn a CLE credit.
