DESCRIPTION:The Darrell Bolz Public Defense College is an annual\, virtual week-long program where the State Public Defender (SPD)\, the National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA)\, and more than two dozen faculty – including local and national experts – provide rigorous training emphasizing trial skills\, client-centered strategies\, and how attorneys can develop support networks at all stages of their careers. \n\n\n\nThe college is reserved for SPD institutional and contract attorneys. Spots are limited\, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible to ensure you get in. \n\n\n\nThe SPD is offering the college at no cost for our attorneys\, who will earn multiple continuing legal education credits. \n\n\n\nSee you in August! \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nNote: Registration for the Darrell Bolz Public Defense College 2025 is closed. The class is full. If you didn’t make it in time\, the SPD will run it again in August 2026.
