SUMMARY:CLE: A Quick Introduction to Child Protection
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a detailed walkthrough of child protection cases with Judge Andrew Ellis. Judge Ellis will provide an introduction for public defenders embarking on representing parents in Child Protection cases\, covering all hearing types from Shelter Care Hearings to Termination of Parental Rights trials\, and everything in-between. \n\n\n\nThis program will primarily focus on a 101-style overview and will be most beneficial for those who only have a cursory understanding of child protection or are taking their first child protection case. More seasoned practitioners will find this helpful as a refresher of the foundations. \n\n\n\nJoin us virtually on October 7th from 12:30-2:00 p.m. MT / 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. PT.
