SUMMARY:CLE: Social Work in Public Defense
DESCRIPTION:Join Alyse Staley LSW from the Kootenai office for this one-hour CLE on the function of social work in the public defense sphere. Alyse will review the concepts and processes that are fundamental to social workers’ support of the public defense system\, including a focus on holistic client advocacy and improving client outcomes. She will also share information that supports this role to explain the benefits of utilizing social work resources within our particular system. \n\n\n\nThis session is intended for all practice levels. \n\n\n\nJoin us virtually on August 5th from 12:30-1:30 p.m. MT / 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. PT.
